Emma & Timothée’s Faith-Based Wedding at Camp Livingstone in the Eastern Townships

Camp Livingstone Wedding | Emma & Timothée

Some wedding locations hold a whole history before the wedding day even begins. For Emma and Timothée, Camp Livingstone was one of those places.

It was where they met, fell in love, spent their summers, and got engaged. Returning to the camp to get married brought their story full circle, and that was what we loved most about photographing their wedding.

Located on Lake Lovering in Stanstead Township, near Magog in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Camp Livingstone offered a setting that felt deeply personal. For a couple celebrating a marriage rooted in faith, this Christian summer camp carried meaning that went far beyond its beautiful surroundings.

A Rustic Wedding at a Summer Camp

We love rustic weddings and photograph a lot of them. There’s something about natural surroundings and the character of a place that makes us excited to pick up our cameras.

Emma and Timothée’s wedding was our first at a summer camp, though, and we loved discovering a different take on the rustic weddings we know so well.

Camp Livingstone’s lakeside setting, wooded grounds, and camp buildings gave the day a distinct sense of place. The look and feel of the camp mattered because it belonged to their story. These were surroundings they knew, loved, and had chosen to return to for one of the biggest days of their lives.

As photographers, that connection matters to us. We want the photographs to preserve the setting alongside the people, so that years later, a couple can remember how it felt to be there.

A Christian Wedding Rooted in Faith and Connection

What stayed with us most was how deeply Camp Livingstone was woven into Emma and Timothée’s relationship. This was where they met, fell in love, spent their summers, and got engaged. Getting married here brought those memories together as they began their next chapter.

For us, weddings are about connection: between two people, the families coming together, and the friends who have been part of their journey. Whether a wedding is faith-based or not, those relationships give the day its meaning. For Emma and Timothée, their relationship with God was an essential part of that story, and their Christian wedding was a celebration of both their love and their shared faith.

Knowing what mattered to them shaped how we photographed the day. From the lake and the woods to the gym where they held their reception, these familiar places held years of memories. We wanted their photographs to capture that connection—the people they love, the place where their relationship grew, and the faith at the heart of their marriage.

That’s what we love about photographing faith-based weddings in Quebec’s Eastern Townships: getting to know each couple and preserving what makes their celebration personal.

Wedding Photography in Montreal, the Eastern Townships, and Across Quebec

Your wedding brings together the people, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped your relationship. We want to get to know that story: how you met, what matters to you, and what you’re most excited to share with the people you love.

At Mandy & Randy Weddings, those conversations help us understand what deserves special attention. It might be a meaningful location, a moment with a grandparent, or the way your faith is woven into your ceremony. For couples planning a Christian wedding, we understand that your relationship with God can be central to the commitment you’re making, and we want to photograph those moments with care.

Emma and Timothée’s Camp Livingstone wedding reminded us why getting to know our couples matters. Understanding their connection to the camp helped us see the significance of places that might otherwise have seemed like simple backdrops.

If you’re looking for wedding photography in Montreal, the Eastern Townships, or elsewhere in Quebec, we’d love to connect. Tell us about your plans, what your celebration means to you, and the memories you want to carry into your married life.‍
